Chief Business Development Officer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Business Development Officer to lead our business development strategy and drive growth for our company. As the Chief Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and implementing strategic plans, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with customers to maintain overall customer health and growth
- Understands the potential market and defines reasonable targets to validate opportunities.
- Advance strategic relationships, develop partnership models and direct implementation of proactive and response growth tactics.
Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of business development experience including demonstrated success in B2B sales, forging strategic partnerships that have resulted in significant increases in earned income.
- Experience in a leadership position at a highly technical infrastructure-focused company, ideally a startup.
- Experience in building the team from scratch;
- Excellent communication, writing and public speaking skills;
- Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills;
- Ability to close the deal and build a system with a high win-win potential between all participants.
