Chief Technology Officer

Our client, a fast-growing B2B Media SaaS Startup, is seeking an experienced Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead their technical team and develop and execute the company's technical strategy. This is a remote working opportunity that offers autonomy and accountability in the role.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, cloud architecture, and leading technical teams in a SaaS environment. The CTO will oversee the development and maintenance of the company's technology stack, ensuring its software and infrastructure are secure, scalable, and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's technical strategy

• Oversee developing and maintaining the company's technology stack

• Lead the technical team, including hiring, training, and managing staff

• Collaborate with the product team to develop and prioritise product features and functionalities

• Oversee the development and implementation of best practices for software development, testing, and deployment

• Monitor and analyse industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend strategic technology investments to the executive team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, Master's degree preferred

• At least ten years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of SaaS architecture and cloud computing

• Experience in leading technical teams, with a track record of successful product launches and delivering high-quality software products

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, test-driven development, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)

• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure

• Experience in developing and managing technical budgets and resource allocation

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements, including GDPR and CCPA

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute technical solutions that meet business needs

• Passion for technology and a strong desire to stay current on emerging trends and technologies in the industry
