Chief Technology Officer

Our client, a trailblazer in the blockchain domain, is seeking a visionary hands-on CTO to spearhead an innovative project aimed at resolving challenges faced by light clients in accessing and validating data on mainnets. They are leveraging state-of-the-art techniques with partial state caching on the Portal Network, aiming to revolutionise the efficiency and security of stateless verifier Lightweight Clients within the Ethereum network.

Role Responsibilities:

Pilot the technical facet of the project, ensuring premier quality, timely delivery, and peak performance.

Synchronise with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment with the project's strategic intent.

Design and oversee the fusion of partial state caching with the Portal Network.

Appraise and infuse zero-knowledge proofs for state fragment verification.

Fortify the security and boost the efficiency of the caching mechanics in tandem with Ethereum clients.

Engage with key stakeholders, including eminent experts from the Ethereum mainnet and leading blockchain developers.

Keep abreast of cutting-edge advancements in blockchain tech, proposing progressive enhancements to the initiative.

Orchestrate technical assets to guarantee optimised utilisation and adherence to the project's financial framework.

Essential Qualifications:‍

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or akin domain. A Ph.D. will be advantageous.

Proven track record in blockchain development, preferably with Ethereum.

Mastery over Ethereum protocols, Verkle trees, and stateless client systems.

Prior exposure to the Portal Network and understanding of its integration challenges.

Robust knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs and relevant applications.

Demonstrated leadership abilities, preferably with high-profile projects.

Stellar analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Commanding communication and team collaboration skills.
