Director
Our client is a global blockchain company behind one of the world's largest digital exchanges. Our client is an EVM-compatible blockchain with over 1,000+ dApps deployed and over 1m daily active users. The successful candidate will join the innovative and rapidly evolving field to build a new era of crypto-powered applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead with the community, academy, and internal teams to shape our client's technology roadmap.
- A technology evangelist for our client's technology via public lectures, writings, podcasts, and other social channels
- Advise ideas, procedures, and rules to guide and influence decentralized applications in my client ecosystems
- Drive innovation together with both internal and external talents
- Focus on user experience, stability, and scalability of the systems
Requirements:
- A deeply technical background (e.g. software engineer/Chief Architect) and have moved more recently into a growth sales role
- Longevity in previous appointments
- Profound knowledge and expertise in blockchain protocol and DLT related system design, implementation, and research
- Great track record for past achievement on distributed systems or/and decentralized ecosystems
- Specifically goal-driven and result-oriented; passionate, entrepreneurial, optimistic, and a natural team player
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, experience in working across different partners from different regions and among communities
- Experience with governance and regulations, and/or experience with any foundations or technology NGOs are great bonus
- Business level English a must
Desired skills and experience:
- Technical background, such as software engineering or computer science
- Experience in community management
- Proven track record of success in sales and growth
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
- Passion for the blockchain industry and cryptocurrency
