Director of Operations:

As the Director of Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the organisation. This role is about the customer and client cross-functionality journey. You will oversee and coordinate various departments and functions within the company to ensure that goals and objectives are met. To be successful in this role, you must be a strategic thinker, an excellent communicator, and have experience in managing complex operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Creating and implementing processes: Develop and implement procedures that help the company to function efficiently, identify bottlenecks, streamline operations, and reduce waste so the organisation can operate optimally. You will be responsible for managing the essential journeys of employees, clients, suppliers, and investors.

- Fast-moving operations: Ensure that the company can move quickly and respond to changing market conditions. This agility requires an ability to make quick decisions and to adapt to new circumstances as they arise.

- Managing the supply chain: Manage the company's sourcing of materials and services, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure the timely delivery of products or services.

- Overseeing production and logistics: Oversee production processes and logistics, ensuring that content is produced and delivered to customers on time and following quality standards.

- Managing human resources: Manage the human resources of the organisation, including hiring, training and development, performance management, and employee relations.

- Ensuring compliance: Confirm that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations and implements policies and procedures to minimise legal and regulatory risk.

- Cost Management: Manage costs and ensure that the company's expenses do not exceed the allocated budget. This oversight may involve negotiating with suppliers, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and optimising operational processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Requirements:

- MUST have experience in media, video streaming and publishing at a senior level.

- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management or a related field. MBA preferred.

- At least ten years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.

- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute operational strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.

- Experience in managing complex operations, including supply chain management, production processes, and logistics.

- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.

- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to pivot strategies and approaches as needed.

- A results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving operational goals and driving business growth.
