Role Expectations:

  • Content Acquisition: Identify and acquire film and television programs aligning with our client's target audience and content strategy. This involves negotiating licensing agreements, purchasing rights, or collaborating with production and distribution companies.
  • Content Curation: Curate a diverse and appealing catalogue catering to European preferences and cultural nuances.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Create content schedules ensuring a balanced mix of genres, languages, and release dates for maximum viewership and engagement.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage budgets related to content acquisition and programming, allocating resources to acquire desired content rights.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor acquired content performance through viewership data, ratings, and user feedback to make informed decisions on programming renewal or discontinuation.
  • Compliance and Rights Management: Ensure all content is acquired and distributed in compliance with legal and licensing requirements, managing copyright and licensing agreements.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, conduct competitor analysis, and market research to identify opportunities and threats in the European film and TV programming landscape.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, such as marketing, sales, and legal, to ensure seamless content delivery and promotion.
  • Content Promotion: Develop marketing and promotional strategies to increase visibility and viewership, including creating trailers, promotional materials, and partnerships.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with content producers, distributors, and industry stakeholders to facilitate content acquisition and negotiation.
