Financial Controller

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager and Controller to oversee the financial activities of our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the financial goals, objectives, and policies of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, managing the accounting operations of the company, and preparing financial statements and reports for management, investors, and regulators.

Responsibilities:

Implement the financial goals, objectives, and policies of the company, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
Oversee the accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, and preparing financial statements and reports for management, investors, and regulators.
Create and manage the company’s budget, monitor and analyze financial results, and report on variances.
Conduct financial forecasting to identify trends and potential risks, and make recommendations to mitigate them.
Ensure the company has sufficient cash flow to meet its financial obligations while maximizing investment returns.
Prepare financial statements and reports for management, investors, and regulators, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax laws and regulations.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize the company’s tax liability and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
Identify and assess financial risks to the company, and develop and implement risk management strategies.
Develop and maintain adequate internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information. Manage the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring the timely completion of audit deliverables.
Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and continuously improving the organization’s financial operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a financial management or accounting role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements, accounting principles, and tax laws and regulations.
Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and cash management.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
MUST have solid understanding of GAAP Standard.
