JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented, creative, experienced and collaborative Senior to Lead 3D Technical artist to join our core team developing high quality Rigs for one of the biggest Metaverse projects ever. The ideal candidate will focus on creating stunning Rigs based on visually appealing and well-crafted character models as well as guiding the team to develop a strong and proficient pipeline in the management of the Models technical structures.

Ideally, you:

• Rig both hard surface and organic characters with lots of interchangeable parts.

• Proficient in Rigging and skinning, managing bipedal and quadrupedal organic and mechanical characters as well as a strong technical knowledge of face rigging and cloth simulation.

• Use your expertise in the technical aspects to ensure the production meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and polish.

• Prepare reviews and give constructive feedback.

• Function as part of a fast-paced close-knit team: collaborate with artists to achieve a unified vision for our project.

• Contribute to the growth of a start up studio.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Technical artist in the gaming field.

• Ability to quickly iterate on an idea, as well as take models to a final rigged state.

• Strong ability to give life to a character, taking in great interest its ultimate movements and feel.

• Strong knowledge of Maya and/or Blender is required.

• Self-starting, self-reliant personality.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• At least one shipped AAA game.

Pluses

• Knowledge in modelling is a plus.

• Experience in a leading position is a high plus.
