Principal‍

Our client is an active early-stage venture investor with a core focus on blockchain since 2018. With a portfolio of over 40 projects, our client targets seed rounds of equity and digital assets without regional restrictions. They maintain a practical and involved approach to supporting projects that make the best use of blockchain to grow viable and sustainable businesses, protocols, or communities. As we prepare to launch a new fund, our client is seeking to strengthen their team at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

1. Dealflow: Utilise your proprietary network, consisting of founders, reputable investors, and angels, to source and conduct due diligence on high-quality pre-seed and seed opportunities that complement our existing deal-flow.
2. Portfolio Management: Monitor and contribute to the development of portfolio companies in one or several specific areas. Provide valuable insights and guidance to support their growth. Additionally, work on exit strategies for investments.
3. Fund Management: Manage specific areas of fund operations, investor relations, and the attraction of relevant venture partners, depending on your experience and expertise.

Qualifications:

1. Deep understanding and experience in blockchain venture and its specific verticals.
2. Experience in leading venture deal investments internally.
3. Highly proactive and ability to work independently.
4. Any two of the following:
5. (i) A track record in generating high-quality pre-seed deal flow.
6. (ii) In-depth work/investment experience that can add value to portfolio companies in specific areas of blockchain infrastructure.
7. (iii) A private (non-institutional) LP network and experience in LP relationships.
