Senior Backend Developer (Full Remote)

Our client is a Web3 and Metaverse technology company with the vision to lead the change in Human Interactions and the mission to connect Real Humans. With these goals in mind, our client is building the first Decentralised Social Metaverse and the Digital Identity of humans, which includes building different innovative products using blockchain technology and token standards.

Responsibilities:

• To write portable and reusable code using Python and Django framework
• To ensure the availability of clean, usable data and data services
• To work closely with Product Owners / UX/UI Designers to implement data models and services
• As Senior member of the backend team to be a source of knowledge and guidance to other members of the development pool

As a Senior Backend Developer, you will:

• Develop new features on a web3-based platform and enhance existing ones
• Be one of our gurus on Python and Django Frameworks (both REST API and WebSocket implementations)
• Participate in software design
• Collaborate with colleagues in a fast-paced environment based on project-oriented virtual teams

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Unity Developer in the game industry

• Strong understanding of the Unity Engine and experience with its scripting and development tools

• Proficiency in C# and experience with object-oriented programming

• Experience with metaverse, Web3, and crypto game development

• Experience with multiplayer game development, including the use of SDKs such as Photon Pun, Photon Fusion, and Mirror

• Experience with optimisation techniques and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues using the Unity Engine

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
