Senior Unity Developer

Our client brings hyperrealism to the metaverse, allowing humans to build their Digital Identity and enjoy mind-blowing environments. Also, create and evolve their Avatar profile, exchange NFTs, use a decentralised chat, get a job in the metaverse, enjoy immersive experiences, own and customise virtual lands, and socialise & earn in our client's 3D World.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement gameplay systems and mechanics for metaverse, Web3, crypto games, and multiplayer features using the Unity Engine and SDKs such as Photon Pun, Photon Fusion, and Mirror

• Collaborate with the art and design teams to integrate gameplay into the game

• Maintain and optimise game performance using the Unity Engine

• Design and implement efficient workflows and pipelines to streamline the production process using the Unity Engine

• Mentor junior team members and assist with their development

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in game development, including metaverse, Web3, crypto games, and multiplayer features

As a Senior Unity Developer, you will:

• To write portable and reusable code using Unity
• To ensure the availability of clean, usable data and data services
• To work closely with Product Owners / UX/UI Designers to implement data models and services
• As a Senior member of the backend team, be a source of knowledge and guidance to other members of the development pool

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Unity Developer in the game industry

• Strong understanding of the Unity Engine and experience with its scripting and development tools

• Proficiency in C# and experience with object-oriented programming• Experience with metaverse, Web3, and crypto game development

• Experience with multiplayer game development, including the use of SDKs such as Photon Pun, Photon Fusion, and Mirror

• Experience with optimisation techniques and the ability to troubleshoot performance issues using the Unity Engine

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• A portfolio showcasing your Unity development work, including examples of the metaverse, Web3, crypto games, and multiplayer features developed using the Unity Engine and SDKs such as Photon Pun, Photon Fusion, and Mirror
